POLICE are selling nearly a hundred movies for under a fiver on the same day that the BAFTAs take over the news.
Thames Valley Police have used the movie hype to try and flog 23 copies of the same action film Django and box sets of Call the Midwife.
The force are also selling questionable bundles of crow bars, hammers, torches and cutters in a bid to get rid of old evidence that has been seized from criminals.

Here are the 23 items listed for sale this week (prices accurate at the time of print):

- A job lot of DVDs and Blu-Ray's including 23 DVDs of the same Django unchained, an 18 rated movie, six copies of Mrs Brown's Boys series three, six copies of Pitch Perfect, four copies of the Hobbit An Unexpected Journey and 11 copies of Twilight Breaking Dawn.
