A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving an ambulance and a car.
Police have appealed for witnesses of the collision, which happened near Wallingford.
At about 8.25pm on Thursday, January 23, a private patient transport ambulance and a black Nissan Leaf crashed.
It happened on the A4130, Nosworthy Way, and police believe at least two other cars were passing at the time.
Thames Valley Police said the driver of the black car, a man in his 40s, sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
He was still in hospital as of Sunday afternoon.
Investigating officer, PC Jonathan Simpkins, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Bicester, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.
“I believe there were at least two cars that may have passed the collision as it happened and I am also appealing for the occupants of those cars to come forward with any information they have.
“I would urge anyone who was in the local area around the time of the incident to check any dash-cam footage too in case it may have captured something that could assist with this investigation.
