Ho-ho-ho, here we go again, having to put up with those awful Christmas lights in the centre of Oxford.
They are about as in vogue as having an Oxford United matching duvet and pillowcase set on one's bed.
Give us some colour please, Oxford city councillors. White snowflakes with white bulbs are so dull.
There are plenty of other coloured bulbs that give us a feel of festive cheer. Whatever happened to yellow, green, blue and red?
I do hope that the council is not relying on these lights to get thousands of people to visit our fine city at this time of year.
If we are to put up with these boring lights, please make it the last time and give us something more colourful next year.
