A MAN has been taken to hospital with 'potentially serious injuries' following a crash on the A40 involving a car and two vans.
A section of the A40 was closed both ways due to the collision which happened at around 6.40am at Barnard Gate, but it has now re-opened.

South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) says a man involved in the crash was trapped in one of the vans and had to be released with the help of the fire and rescue service.
He then received initial treatment from paramedics before being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with 'potentially serious injuries'.

SCAS sent two ambulances and a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle to the scene when it received calls at 6.30am.
Two people were assessed at the scene for minor injuries; and two others were assessed and cleared as not requiring any treatment.
There was queueing traffic from Oxford Hill (Witney) to the Barnard Gate turn off.

Stagecoach bus services had to be diverted due to the collision.
