MORE than 100 people have opposed the sentence handed to a former teacher who admitted having sex with a pupil.
A petition has been set up following the suspended sentence handed to Stuart Hubble, who was a music teacher at an Oxford school during the offences.
Hubble, of Lark Rise in Brackley, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a female, abusing his position of trust.

The 50-year-old was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday, to 12 months in jail suspended for two years.
An online Change.org petition has since been set up calling for Hubble to be 'reconsidered for jail time'.
It has gained more than 100 signatures in the space of two days.

The court heard how Hubble 'begged' his victim for sex and 'made her feel uncomfortable' until she consented.
He had sex with her multiple times including once in a car at Thorpe Park and once in his office, the court heard.
Prior to sentencing, Hubble's defence barrister said his client was 'remorseful' and added: "It has not been predatory behaviour.
"The sex was consensual and mutual to start with."
