A MOTORCYCLIST was take to hospital after a crash on the A40.
There were long delays last night after the collision at Barnard Gate.
David Gallagher, spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service, confirmed an ambulances was sent after a 999 call at 8.05pm about a crash outside the Salutation Barn on the A40 at Barnard Gate.

He added: "We sent an ambulance to the scene; the male rider had sustained a leg injury and following initial treatment, was then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital."
Despite reports an air ambulance had been seen Thames Valley Air Ambulance and SCAS confirmed one had not attended.
Oxfordshire County County posting at 9.40pm yesterday told motorists to avoid the area if possible, with a fuel spillage caused by the crash.
Oxford bound traffic was able to get through but the stretch headed towards Witney was blocked.
