AN Oxford man accidentally drowned after wading into a stream while high on drink and drugs.
Martin Kennedy went into Castle Mill Stream behind Paradise Square in Oxford, on the night of June 21.
At around 9.30pm the 43-year-old, who was unemployed and homeless at the time, began to get into difficulty.

Despite the water being relatively shallow Mr Kennedy somehow drowned.
He had been intoxicated on drugs and alcohol at the time, an inquest into his death revealed on Tuesday.
Only an hour and a half later he was pronounced dead at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington.
The coroner ruled that it was an accident.
