POLICE are making a new appeal for a specific witness in relation to the stabbing of a boy in Banbury.
The incident happened inside Mace Convenience Store in Broad Street at about 9.40pm on Saturday.
The victim, a 14-year-old boy, became involved in a verbal altercation with a group of men.
Following this altercation, the offenders assaulted the victim, stabbing him in his back and shoulder.

The victim was taken to hospital in a serious condition but has since been discharged.
Two men, aged 20 and 18 both from Banbury, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and wounding respectively.
They have both been released on police bail until February 10.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Mark Personius said: "I am making a new appeal in connection with this incident in which a 14-year-old boy was stabbed.
"From our enquiries we believe there was a customer in Mace Convenience Store at the time of the incident, at about 9.40pm on Saturday.

"We need to speak to him urgently as he might be a key witness in this investigation.
"The witness is described as a white man, in his thirties, of medium build.
"He was wearing a green jumper, white baseball cap and had a pair of white headphones around his neck.
