THREE teenagers charged with murdering a man in Didcot have been given a date for their trial.
The public gallery at Oxford Crown Court was packed this morning as three men appeared via videolink facing charges of murder.
Isaac Boyland, 19, of Marlborough Road, Oxford, Brookton Lagan, 18, of Robin Way, Didcot, and Taison Cyrille, also 18, of Market End Way, Bicester, all appeared via videolink today.
While no formal trial indictment has been put to the men they are all charged with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm.
The charges are in relation to the death of Darren Maccormick, known as Dizzy, who was stabbed to death in Mendip Heights, Didcot, as well as wounding with intent, two other men in their twenties and thirties.
The incident is alleged to have taken place during an altercation on Thursday morning, at around 3.46am.
No formal plea was entered to any of the charges today and the men spoke only to confirm their names.
Presiding Judge Ian Pringle QC set a provisional trial date at the brief hearing for June 15 this year.
That trial is expected to last four weeks.
A further hearing was pencilled in today for April 7, where the men are set to enter their pleas.
