THREE teenagers have appeared in court this morning charged with the murder of Darren Maccormick.
18-year-olds Taison Cyrille and Brookton Lagan stood side by side as they appeared in the dock at Oxford Magistrates’ Court alongside 19-year-old Isaac Boyland.
The trio have been jointly charged with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm.
They have been accused of stabbing Mr Maccormick, known as Dizzy, to death in Mendip Heights, Didcot, as well as wounding, with intent, two other men in their twenties and thirties.
It happened during an altercation on Thursday morning, at around 3.46am.
Thames Valley Police formally confirmed his identity this afternoon, alongside the cause of death which was a stab wound to the chest.

Boyland, 19, of Marlborough Road in Oxford, was wearing a grey tracksuit and had his hair plaited.
Lagan, 18, of Robin Way in Didcot, was also wearing a grey tracksuit and had stubble and black hair.
Cyrille, also 18, of Market Endway in Bicester, was wearing a grey short sleeve top over a long sleeve top and grey jogging bottoms, and had a short afro.
They spoke in turn only to confirm their names, ages and nationalities.
The three were charged by police yesterday evening.
Those charged with a crime appear at a Magistrates’ Court for a preliminary hearing.
It is then decided if the matter will be heard at Magistrates’ Court or whether it will be passed on to Crown Court.
Because a murder charge is so serious, the case must be passed on, either for a trial by jury or for a sentencing by a judge.
Magistrates only have the power to sentence somebody for up to six months – so indictable-only offences, like murder and GBH, must be passed on to the higher court.
All three defendants will appear at Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday morning, at 10am.
The magistrates said: “Because of the nature and seriousness of the charges you will be remanded in custody.”
All three were put in handcuffs and escorted back out of the dock back down to the cells.
On his way out, Lagan blew kisses to his family and shouted ‘love’.
