THE victim of a fatal stabbing in Didcot died of a wound to the chest, police have confirmed this evening.
Thames Valley Police has released an update into their murder investigation, and said three teenagers arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder on Friday remain in custody.

A fourth who was also arrested, a 16-year-old boy from Milton Keynes, has been released without charge.
The force said tonight that the stabbing is not being linked to any other incidents.
A murder investigation was launched on Thursday following the death of a man in his 40s, in Mendip Heights.
Police said they were called to an 'altercation' between a group of men at 3.46am that day, and three people had been injured - one, fatally.
The victim has been named locally as Darren Maccormick, but police have not yet formally identified him.

A post-mortem examination was carried out today, and concluded that the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.
Police said the man, who died in hospital following the attack, had suffered 'multiple stab wounds'.
The three young men who remain in custody, having been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder on Friday night, are:
- An 18-year-old man from Didcot
- A 19-year-old man from Oxford
- An 18-year-old man from Bicester

Senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Blaik, said: “We continue to work diligently to find out what happened in Mendip Heights in the early hours of Thursday.
“I want to reassure the community that are enquiries have not shown any link to any other incidents.
“I would like to reiterate my appeal to anyone who has any information to contact the force as soon as possible."
The two other men who were injured, one in his 20s and another in his 30s, were taken to hospital but have since been discharged.
