AN RAF engineer was found dead in his barracks after a night drinking with friends.
Luke Neeson, who was living at RAF Brize Norton, was found hanging by a colleague on December 27.
Darren Salter, the head coroner for Oxfordshire, opened an inquest into his death yesterday at Oxford Coroners Court.
He explained how an initial police report said that a colleague had gone to his room to check the 25-year-old was okay, but when they didn't hear anything they went to find a spare key and get in.
A full inquest has been set for May 21.
