TWO men tackled a police officer to the ground and punched him in the face.
Thames Valley Police has explained the major police presence in Thame at the weekend, during which a passer-by filmed a man getting floored by a police Taser.
The pair have already been convicted following the attack on Sunday morning, which happened at about 12.10am.
Videos posted on Facebook showed Upper High Street blocked by at least five police vehicles, following what the force described as a 'large disorder''.

A police spokesperson said: "Two men assaulted a police officer by tackling him to the ground. He was punched in the face.
"A Taser was deployed during the incident by an officer.
"The assaulted officer sustained cuts and bruises but did not require hospital treatment."
John Way, 44, of no fixed abode and Tyler Way, 19, of Pearce Way in Thame, were arrested and charged and appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Monday.

They both pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and possessing a class B drug, police said.
Tyler Way was sentenced at the same hearing to a 12-month community order and 150 hours of unpaid work. He also had to pay compensation to the officer.
John Way is due to be sentenced at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 17.
One man who commented on the video, which was shared on the Spotted: Thame Facebook page, said the man who was Tasered was 'screaming and thrashing about like a wild animal'.
He added: "Two police officers were struggling to deal with him and not get injured themselves.
"Reinforcements then arrived and he still didn’t settle down.
"It was a good 15 minutes before they resorted to the Taser."
Police did not specify who was hit by the Taser.
