HOMEWARE store House in the Westgate Centre in Oxford is to close within days.
A closing down sale is now under way at the chain’s outlet, which opened 18 months ago.
House sells kitchenware, cookware and electrical goods with well-known brands bringing in the customers.

The store was packed today with shoppers hunting for bargains as the closing down sale advertised major reductions.
The manager said: “We should be open until the weekend but that’s only if the stock lasts - it’s selling fast.
“We have been here about 18 months and there are four or five staff.”

There are other House stores in Norwich, Sheffield, Bromley in Kent, Bracknell in Berkshire and Stratford, London.
The manager declined to say why the store was closing.
The chain also sells products online.
Sale signs in the shop window told customers they would get 70 per cent and 80 per cent off items, informing them that the store was in its ‘last few days’.
