A DEMONSTRATION will be held tomorrow in Oxford city centre to raise awareness of a controversial law that could be passed in India.
The Oxford Islamic Information Centre is hosting the event to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) by the Hindu nationalist government in India, which critics say is anti-Muslim.

Director of the centre, Dr Sheikh Ramzy, is leading the protest. He said: "We are calling on all faiths to unite and the British government to intervene or revoke the deal."
The demonstration starts at 2pm at Carfax Tower and is expected to last around an hour and a half.
