A WOMAN from Oxford has gone missing in Turkey after missing her flight home, police have said.
Vildane Berani, who lives in Wolvecote, flew out to Turkey on December 7 to Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in the Pendick area of Istanbul.
The 33-year-old was due to get her flight back home on December 10, but missed it.
She also didn't get on two further flights on December 11 and December 12.
Now all contact has been lost with her.
She is believed to still be in Istanbul.
Ms Berani is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes.
Senior investigating officer, detective chief inspector Bruce Riddell, said: "We have been carrying out enquiries to try and locate Vildane in Turkey and we are now appealing to her friends, colleagues or anyone who may have been in contact with her to please come forward with any information.
"Additionally we are appealing to anyone in Turkey who may have seen Vildane to please contact us."
