A ROBBER threatened staff at the Co-op with a metal pole before stealing cash from the shop.
It happened yesterday evening, at around 5.30pm, at the Marigold Square branch in Carterton.
The robber is described as a white man, who was wearing white Air Force 1 trainers.
He’s around 6ft 1ins tall and was wearing a face covering hiding his nose.
He was also wearing black trousers.
Investigating officer detective constable Darren Pomroy, based at Banbury Police Station, said: “This incident happened in the early evening and I believe there were people in the area who may have seen or heard something.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information that could help with this investigation, to get in touch."
