A MAN started touching a woman from behind in a 'frightening' sex attack this morning.
The woman, who was in her fifties, was 'enjoying an evening out in Banbury'.
She was waiting to cross the road near Banbury train station - at the crossing on Cherwell Street and the junction of Bridge Street - opposite Kwik Fit, when a man she didn't know came up to her from behind at about 12.15am.
He started touching her inappropriately over her clothing.
Police are now hunting for the man, who is is described as white, and in his fifties.
He also has a short-cropped mousy hair, a long face, and a long nose.
Investigating officer, PC Lucy Henderson-Slater said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim who was enjoying an evening out in Banbury.
"We need the public's help to identify the offender, so if anyone as any information about the offence then please contact Thames Valley Police."
