Sir - So we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Nothing that we can do will have a perceptible impact on the climate. I hope that Michael Tyce's informative letter can be made available to the millions of people living in the world's in coastal regions, those in the sub-sahara and the younger generations across the world for when they are old enough to read these words of wisdom. I am sure that they would not want Mr Tyce (nor me for that matter) to suffer any inconvenience or disturb 'our way of life' on the mere possibility (actually, as close to a scientific consensus that has ever existed) that each of us by adding ten tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere every year might be having some effect on the global atmosphere.
