A NEW study following the General Election has revealed that Oxford University is the most common place for MPs to study.
The research from studee.com found that 85 per cent of MPs attended university and Oxford is the most popular.
The city just edged out university rivals Cambridge to keep hold of top spot, with 19 per cent of MPs in total, former Oxbridge students.

To get into a career in politics it seems like studying it is your best bet as 20 per cent of our MPs studied the subject at university.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson indeed studied at Oxford.
He read Classics at Balliol College and was elected President of the Oxford Union in 1986.
