AYNHO'S community theatre group is presenting I Thought I Heard A Rustling by Alan Plater on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 15-17.
The plot involves ex-miner-turned-poet Bill Robson who is appointed writer-in-residence at a local branch library.
But it is not long before senior librarian Ellen begins to suspect that all is not what it seems.
The play will be performed at the village hall, at 7.30pm each evening.
Tickets, priced at £5 on Thursday and £7.50 on Friday and Saturday, are available on 01869 811056 or 01869 810590. Friday and Saturday prices include a cheese supper.
