EVERY man named on Wallingford's war memorial will have a special place in a two-day exhibition in the town hall over Remembrance weekend.

Organisers Andrew Russell and Gary Skinner, who have researched the history and military records of all the people on the memorial, hold an annual exhibition, which gets more detailed every year.

There will be photographs, home front and wartime memorabilia, medals and details of the Wallingford men who fought in the Boer war and the two world wars.

They are keen to improve their exhibition and would welcome information and photographs relating to the men on the memorial.

Call Mr Russell on 01491 832414 or Mr Skinner on 01869 277366.

On November 11, mayor Betty Atkins will take the salute at the parade and lead the town's act of remembrance at 11am.
