A WOMAN in her twenties has been charged with arson after a fire was started in the middle of the night.
Firefighters were called to Aldrich Road in Cutteslowe, north Oxford, at 11.57pm on Tuesday.
They were joined by Thames Valley Police officers who arrested a 52-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman on suspicion of starting the fire.
Alice Robinson, who lives on Aldrich Road, has now been charged with one count of arson with intent to endanger life and appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court today.
She will now have a trial at Oxford Crown Court on January 20, 2020 and has been remanded in custody.
The 52-year-old man was questioned by police but has been released with no further action.
