WALLINGFORD has a new county councillor following a by-election.
Pete Sudbury is the new Green Party councillor for the town.
The by-election took place on Thursday, November 28.

Mr Sudbury won the election with 998 votes.
His opponents were Adrian Lloyd (Conservative, 775 votes), George Kneeshaw (Labour, 202 votes) and Elaine Hornsby (Independent, 483 votes).
The turnout from the local electorate was 30.23 per cent.
