OXFORD'S election candidates have been urged to pledge to take the NHS ‘off the table’ in a trade deal with the US.
Candidates from all parties standing in Oxford East and Oxford West and Abingdon have been asked to attend a photo opportunity at the John Radcliffe Hospital at 1pm on Sunday and make the pledge.

It is part of a national campaign led by Keep Our NHS Public and We Own It.
The groups claim that the NHS cannot be protected from a trade deal without ending privatisation. More than 400 candidates have already signed the pledge. A full list of signatories can be found at weownit.org.uk/nhs-trade-pledge.
