AN OXFORD University school will throw open its doors to the public for a political hustings next week.
The Blavatnik School of Government will host a hustings for the Oxford West and Abingdon constituency next Wednesday (December 4) at 7pm.
The Blavatnik School is one of the youngest departments of the University, and its mission is 'to improve public policy and government around the world.'
Recently, staff at the school have said they want to do more for local residents.
A few weeks ago the school hosted a panel discussion about the issue of homelessness in Oxford.
Now it will host all four candidates for the Oxford West and Abingdon seat in an open discussion on their campaigns.
The candidates standing in the seat are Layla Moran (Liberal Democrats), James Frederickson (Conservatives), Rosie Sourbut (Labour), and Allison Wild (Brexit Party).
As with all hustings, members of the audience will be given the chance to ask the candidates questions about hot button issues.
The Hustings will take place at the Blavatnik School of Government on Walton Street, opposite Oxford University Press.
