THE three men who were convicted after the killing of a man in an Oxford street had all denied murder.
After their trial at Oxford Crown Court ended Michael Yemane, 20, of South Bridge Row, Oxford, and Welid Solomon, 26, of Field Avenue, Oxford – were found guilty of murder.
Solomon was also convicted of perverting the course of justice by setting his car on fire after the street attack.
Safeen Karimi, 28, of Hode Garth, Thame, was cleared of murder but found guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter.
They were all sentenced this morning for the killing of 22-year-old Luciano Dos Santos Almeida at Southfield Road.
