AN OXFORD schoolgirl received the highest mark in the world for one of her exams.
Headington School pupil Zoe Liwicki, 16, scored the top mark for her food and nutrition IGCSE in summer.
IGCSEs are an equivalent alternative to GCSEs and are usually offered in the UK by independent schools, but they are available in countries across the world.

Zoe, who is now studying A-Levels, gained an A* in the course in summer but has only just been informed by Cambridge Assessment International Education that she was the highest-scoring.
She said: "I never thought I would get something like that ā I feel like Iām going to get a letter saying it was a mistake."
