THE Oxford Spires Hotel off Abingdon Road has been given a rebranding.
Now in its 20th year, it been rebranded voco Oxford Spires by owners InterContinental Hotel Group, offering a 'modern, stylish and unstuffy hotel experience' for guests.
The 181-room refurbished hotel has been given a revamp to ensure guests have a memorable stay.
Located close to the River Thames and on University College Oxford grounds, the hotel is about 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre.

The property was designed by local builder John Ede and businessman Brian Murtyr but buildings on the grounds such as Eastwyke Farmhouse date back to the 15th century.
Wendy Procter, general manager of four-star voco Oxford Spires said: “We are delighted to be the fourth hotel in the UK to join the voco family.
“Our hotel offers guests the opportunity to relax in a rural setting while only being within walking distance from one of the greatest historic cities in the world.
“We look forward to offering a warm welcome to guests, old and new, when they choose to stay with us.”

The University College boathouse is close by, so guests might catch a glimpse of the team training.
According to the chain, every guest will experience a warm welcome, and a simple check in, with dedicated voco hosts available throughout the guest’s stay as resident experts.
Inspired by its surroundings, voco Oxford Spires blends Cotswold stone with contemporary interiors throughout.
The hotel guest rooms benefit from the voco design concept with thoughtful comforts like cosy bedding made from 100 per cent recycled materials, plus Wi-Fi.

Guests can enjoy locally inspired dishes at Deacons Restaurant, whilst the Deacon Lounge offers guests the space to unwind or catch up with friends and family over drinks.
There is also a hotel health club featuring a spa, steam room, jacuzzi, pool, gym and treatment rooms.

The hotel can also be used as a venue for corporate events, with 11 meeting rooms.
Rooms start at £130 a night.
