AN appeal for information on a Wallingford test pilot has been made by the producers of a Channel 4 documentary.
John Sidney Andrews, an RAF test pilot, was killed in a flying accident in March 1945.
Programme producer Adam Jessel said: "We know he worked in a bank in Wallingford before the war. In 1925 he married a lady called Irene Margaret Cooke, they had a child and when he was killed his wife was living in Moulsford.
"He was cremated at Oxford. And that's the sum total of our knowledge.
"So we are trying to track down anyone who knew him."
