AN 18-YEAR-OLD who admitted a string of violent offences will be sentenced at court today.
Joshua Guttridge admitted before magistrates last month two counts of assault on a man and a woman in Middle Barton.
The teenager, of Ballard Close, Middle Barton, also admitted assaulting a custody detention officer while at Banbury Police Station.
The three offences all took place on October 22.
Guttridge also admitted two further offences at the same hearing which were carried out at Middle Barton the next day.
He pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman as well as having a lock knife.
After admitting the offences his case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report by the National Probation Service to explore all sentencing options.
He is expected to be sentenced at Oxford Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
