A MAN charged with a string of alleged shop thefts is due to appear at court today.
Simon White faces seven counts of theft from a shop.
It is alleged that the 40-year-old of Cecil Sharp Place, Headington, stole various goods at a number of shops to the total value of £1,393.96.
The thefts are all claimed to have taken place between June and October of this year.
White, it is alleged, first stole two electric toothbrushes and three packs of razor to the value of £205.96 from Superdrug, Abingdon, on June 20.

On July 15 he is then claimed to have stolen clothing to the value of £165 from Burford Garden Centre, Burford.
It is claimed he stole razor blades to the value of £20 from Co Op, Headington on September 2, a bottle of vodka valued at £35 from the same shop on September 4, and cosmetics valued at £708 from Burford Garden Centre, Burford, on September 18.
Two offences are claimed in October - the theft of Christmas Gift Sets valued at £110 from Waitrose, Oxford, on October 18, and a case of champagne valued at £150, from Waitrose, Oxford, on October 22.
No pleas have been entered to any of the offences.
