A MAN with a 'distinctive jawline' slashed his victim with a knife on Didcot's very own Yellow Brick Road.
The 'distressing' attempted robbery happened at about 7.30pm on Thursday, and police have today launched a witness appeal.
Officers said the victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking on the 'Yellow Brick Road pathway between Orwell Drive and Derwent Avenue' when he bumped into a man walking in the opposite direction.
The man demanded his phone and when the victim refused, the would-be robber pulled out a yellow Stanley knife and cut him.

He was described as having a 'distinctive jawline', thin lips and a short moustache.
He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, which had a small white logo on the left side, and grey tracksuit bottoms.
