A RUGBY and cricket pavilion belonging to Bloxham School was damaged by a blaze that firefighters suspect was arson.
The wooden building, on the school's reserve sports field, in Courtington Lane, Bloxham, caught fire late on Wednesday night.
The inside of the pavilion was wrecked, but the shell of the 50ft by 16ft structure was saved.
It was the second fire at a sports pavilion in two days.
A similar blaze occurred on Tuesday at Challow and Childrey Cricket Club, at Vicarage Hill, in East Challow, near Wantage.
