POLICE warn of a scam where victims receive an automated phone call claiming they have been charged for an Amazon Prime subscription.

Victims are told they can cancel by pressing one but when they do this they are connected to criminals posing as Amazon custom service representatives who remotely access their computer and steal their personal and financial details.
Thames Valley Police West Oxfordshire tweeted the alert which has been raised by Action Fraud.
