COCA-COLA'S crimson lorry has become an icon of the Christmas season, and today it has announced all the dates on its 2019 tour.
The holidays are coming, as the catchy advert promises every year, but once again they will not be stopping anywhere near Oxford.
Oxfordshire has been snubbed, as have neighbouring counties including Wiltshire and Berkshire.

Residents in Oxfordshire will have to travel to London or Bristol for the nearest stops this year, which is the ninth year of the truck's nationwide tour.
The closest locations to Oxford include Asda Watford, just over an hour away, and Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, an hour and a half away.
This year the tour will raise money for Crisis, the national homelessness charity.
It will start on Friday, in Edinburgh, before visiting 19 locations ending in London on December 15.
Visitors will be able to take pictures with the lit-up lorry and enjoy a winter wonderland setting, and get a 150ml Coca-Cola zero sugar.

When the Christmas Truck stops at Asda and Sainsbury’s stores, visitors will be able to buy a pack of 250ml glass Coca-Cola bottles personalised with a name.
For every can placed in the recycling bins during the tour, the company will donate 10p to the charity.
