A YOUNG woman was attacked while walking through the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre's car park.
Thames Valley Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which took place just after 10pm on Wednesday, October 9.
The woman, who is in her mid-twenties, was walking through the hospital car park on Old Road, Headington when a man approached her and an argument started.
Police say the man hit her several times and they then carried on walking along Old Road towards the Churchill Hospital, with the man then starting to hit the woman for a second time.

She was left with injuries to her face.
A 35-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested in connection with the incident.
He has been released on bail to appear at Abingdon police station on January 13, 2020.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jessica Godfrey based at St Aldates police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the incident to please come forward.

“I am particularly interested in speaking with the member of the public who drove passed at the time of the incident and stopped to help the victim, driving her to a place of safety."
