OXFORD's biggest fireworks display will still go ahead tonight despite windy and wet weather.
The Oxford Round Table, which organises the display announced today on Facebook that the event is still all set to go ahead.

The round table announcement said: "Moist down here on the park...
"We’re still going ahead as planned but we have two key words for you: 1) WATERPROOFS. 2) WELLIES. See you all tonight!"

While the fireworks display, which is said to be the largest in Oxfordshire, is set to go ahead, other plans have been cancelled this weekend.
The closure of the A34 between Botley and Hinksey which had been planned from Friday night until early Monday morning has been put off due to the high winds accompanying the wet weather.
