Mitchell, who was already banned from the roads, was caught on Tuesday June 25 this year driving a Ford Transit.
He was on the M40 northbound between junctions 10 and 11.
There was also no third party insurance policy in place in respect of the Ford Transit.
After being convicted of the two offences on September 20 his case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report by the National Probation Service.
Mitchell is expected to appear today before the court.
