TIME is running out to have your say on plans to cut the speed limit on a section of Oxford's ring road.
Oxfordshire County Council plans to reduce the speed limits on a stretch of the southern bypass, slip roads to & from Kennington, as well as on the adjacent Kennington Road.
If approved the slip roads serving Kennington village to and from the A423 would be reduced to 50mph on the south side slip road and 40mph on the north side.
The A423 dual-carriageway - part of the southern and eastern bypass - would also be cut to 50 mph from the A34 at Hinksey Hill through to the Heyford Hill roundabout.
Kennington Road - the northern end - would be reduced to 40mph southwards from Old Abingdon Road.
Consultation for the proposals began earlier this month and anybody who wants to comment has until Friday to have their say.
After all comments have been received the council will consider the proposals at a later date.
