GUSTS of up to 40mph are expected to sweep across Oxfordshire today.
As forecasters predict heavy rain and high wind speeds for much of the day, Oxfordshire County Council has urged people to take extra care on the roads.

Millets Farm near Abingdon has had to close its Halloween-themed maze due to the weather.
It initially kept its pumpkin patch open but that has now become waterlogged and is closed for the day.
The Met Office predicted rain downpours in Abingdon until about 5pm, and wind gusts of 39mph this morning.
A bulb-planting session that had been planned in Headington has also had to be postponed due to the weather today.

Headington Market advised customers to get there early this morning and said it is taking 'extra care with layouts' due to the weather.

A walk arranged by BBC Oxford from Letcombe Regis today has also been cancelled.
