POLICE are selling dog accessories, a Gucci watch and a set of Freddie Mercury classics on eBay this week.

Thames Valley Police using the buying and selling site to flogs off old evidence and unclaimed items.

Some of it has been stolen and then seized by officers in an investigation, or handed in at stations.

They hold the items for a while before making the decision to give it away, bin it or sell it.

The eBay page is where all of the selling pile ends up, and the cash raised goes to good causes in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire – divvied up through a scheme run by the Police and Crime Commissioner.

The online jumble sale is regularly updated and this week's goodies are all being sold at a fraction of their original price.

Winners must collect everything in person from the police eBay HQ in Milton Keynes.
