OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

JASON CLARK, 28, of Glyndebourne Gardens, Banbury, was convicted of drink driving on Warwick Road, Banbury on August 30. He had 72 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £460 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £46. He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

ARLEN MICHAEL HEATHERLEY, 24, of Harefields, Oxford, was convicted of drink driving on Banbury Road, Summertown on June 14. He had 41 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £80. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ZAHID MAHAMMED IQBAL, 31, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, was convicted of to obstructing a police officer undertaking their duty on September 14. He also was convicted of driving a van when his licence had expired, to driving without third party insurance, and to using a mobile phone while driving on the same date at Clive Road, Oxford. He was fined a total of £879 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with eight penalty points.

DARREN NEEDHAM, 39, of Sussex Drive, Banbury, was convicted of drink driving on Dukes Meadow Drive, Banbury on August 31. He had 55 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £438 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £43 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ZACK RYALL, 27, of Woodrush Gardens, Carterton, was convicted of drink driving at Buttercross Lane and Station Lane, Witney on August 31. He had 94 microgrammes of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £603 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

THERESA HANSON, 53, of Oxford Road, Kidlington, was convicted of failing to provide a breath specimen for police on June 19. She also was convicted of driving a car otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without third party insurance on the same date. She was fined £674 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £42 and court costs of £85. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

DANIEL CLIFFORD, 40, of Restharrow Mead, Bicester, was convicted of speeding at Crathorne in North Yorkshire on October 12 last year. He was driving at 72 mph on the A19 dual carriageway, where the limit is 60 mph. He was fined £100, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

KENNETH ALAN HICKS, 30, of Bartholomew Road, Cowley, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on Botley Road on March 23, 2016. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

GEORGINA LUCY BEAUCHAMP, 31, of Goose Acre, Radley, was convicted of stealing a handbag from TK Maxx at Templars Shopping Park on July 27. She also was convicted of stealing handbags from the same shop on July 10, and to committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. She was ordered to pay compensation of £499.43. She was also given a community sentence and ordered to take part in a drug rehabilitation programme.

ANTHONY RICHARD WASHINGTON, 34, of Strawberry Hill, Bloxham, was convicted of being in charge of a motor vehicle above the legal alcohol limit on July 23 at Main Road, Broughton. Had 65 ug of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £276 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with 10 penalty points.

FAY KNOTT, 24, of Clover Fields, Didcot, was convicted of stealing household, cosmetic items and clothing to the value of £494.38 from TK Maxx, Slough on July 23. She was made subject to a community order to include an overnight curfew for 10 weeks and a programme requirement for 30 days. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £90.

DERYN ELIZABETH LONGHURST, 24, of Orchid Mews, Didcot, was convicted of stealing household, cosmetic items and clothing to the value of £494.38 from TK Maxx, Slough on July 23. She was made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement for 12 days and drug rehabilitation requirement for six months. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £90.

Richard JAMES HISCOCK, 25, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of stealing fragrances to the value of £36 from Boots, Oxford, on July 13 and baby monitors to the value of £222.97 from Boots, Oxford, on July 2. Also was convicted of stealing a rucksack to the value of £19.99 from Trespass, Oxford, on June 30 and two bottles of Vodka valued at £34 from Tesco, Oxford, on August 27, razors valued at £102.98 from Boots, Oxford, on August 10 and more razors valued at £89.99 from Boots, Oxford, on August 25 and seven pairs of sunglasses valued at £369 from Boots, Oxford on August 24. He also was convicted of a further count of burglary at Waterstones Book Shop, Oxford and stealing from a till £93 on August 9. He was jailed for a total of 16 weeks and must pay compensation totalling £ 573.94.

Scott Stephen HADLOW, 39, of no fixed abode, was convicted of two counts of harassment by breaching a restraining order by making phone calls to a woman on August 12 and attending the address of a woman on August 16. He was jailed for a total of eight weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £122.

RICKY LEE CORDELL, 39, of McKeevor Place, Banbury, was convicted of failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders register by being at an address for more than 12 hours with a child present on August 25. He was fined £450 and must pay a victim surcharge of £45 and court costs of £85.

David Paul HETHERINGTON, 43, of Savile Way, Grove, was convicted of harassment by breaching a restraining order by contacting a man on August 31. He must pay compensation of £100.

JASON GORDON TAMPIN, 38, of no fixed abode, was convicted of two counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order in Abingdon on September 15 and 16. He was jailed for a total of four weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £122.

JOHN GORDON ANDERSON, 42, of Bicester Road, Kidlington, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on April 18 at Wolfe Road, Oxford. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
