DRIVERS have been told to avoid a rural road linking two villages near Kidlington due to flooding.
Oxfordshire County Council have tweeted this morning that there is currently standing water on the road between Islip and Oddington.
The authority urged motorists to 'approach with caution' and to find an alternative route.

It follows heavy rainfall across the county yesterday, with a yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office between noon and midnight.
