PENSIONERS, pregnant women, those with long-term conditions like diabetes or heart disease, and health workers are being urged to get vaccinated against flu as part of a countywide campaign.
The free vaccines from GP surgeries are also available for children aged between two and 11, as they are deemed most ‘at risk’ from infection or of passing it on to vulnerable people.

Dr Edward Capo-Bianco, from Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group said: “The flu is not the same as getting a cold.
"It can seriously affect your health and the risks of developing complications are greater for people within the ‘at risk’ groups."
