CUB Scouts armed with rubber gloves and bin bags spent an evening sprucing up the Orchard Centre, Didcot.
The 23rd Didcot Cubs picked up five bags of rubbish, after studying the global issues of waste, recycling and the environment, as well as other countries and cultures.
Scout leader Di Chesterman said: "I was really proud to take the group into the Orchard Centre. They carried out the litter pick task quickly and efficiently and managed to collect an amazing amount of rubbish."
District Commissioner Rob Vaines said the activity challenged the youngsters to think about waste and the effect it has on others.
