A MAN has died following a crash on the M40 in which a van left the carriageway and hit a camera mast.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after the fatal crash happened on Tuesday close to Junction 10 for Cherwell Valley Services.
The force said the man was driving a silver Mercedes Sprinter van which joined the motorway at J10 travelling southbound towards J9 for Bicester.

At about 6.20am the van left the carriageway, went along the verge and crashed into a mast.
The 44-year-old, who was the only person in the car, died at the scene.
Investigating officer, PC Kate Bishop, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who saw this vehicle driving prior to the collision.
“If you have any information which you think could help our investigation, please call 101, quoting reference number 134 (1/10).”
