A POLICE officer who was killed in the line of duty will be remembered at a private funeral in Christ Church Cathedral.
Thames Valley Police launched a murder investigation after the officer died responding to a burglary in the rural village of Sulhamstead in August.
Details of his funeral have now been announced, after the force confirmed he would be honoured with a police funeral.
Those closest to him will gather at 11am on October 14 at the church, following a procession around St Aldate's.
Details of the route and road closures will be announced closer to the time.
