A THUG with a long history of beating up women has been jailed for the latest brutal attack on his partner.
Daniel Fitzsimons showed little emotion as a jury at Oxford Crown Court found him unanimously guilty of wounding with intent and cruelty to a child earlier this month.
As the 33-year-old was sentenced today a court judge had to 'mute' his videolink after he screamed 'total, total bulls**t' as his shocking past was detailed.

During the trial prosecutors said the victim was on her sofa with her seven-week old baby when Fitzsimons approached her on the morning of December 22 last year.
Fitzsimons became 'increasingly angry', the jury heard, as a row ensued and he proceeded to 'repeatedly' strike her.
Prosecutors said that she was 'absolutely terrified' during her ordeal and jurors were shown a blood-stained baby grow which the child was wearing at the time.
Fitzsimons, who has a string of previous convictions including for violence, had denied the charges.
In an unusual twist during the trial the victim appeared to deny her original account and was treated as a 'hostile witness' before the jury.

The woman was later handed a two month jail term suspended for 12 months for contempt of court.
At yesterday's sentencing prosecutor Alexandra Bull detailed the numerous cases of violence involving women.
Among the previous convictions he has 12 public order convictions, seven for common assault and battery, four assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one wounding.
Sentencing Judge Nigel Daly said that Fitzsimons was a 'dangerous' offender and merited an extended jail term.
Fitzsimons smiled and said 'thank you very much judge' after he was jailed for 10 years with three years extended licence.
