A VEHICLE was set on fire during an attempted ATM raid at a Co-op in Wheatley.
Police have cordoned off the store in Station Road following the incident in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to the scene at 1.56am and found a cash machine had been forcibly removed from the wall and a vehicle had been set alight. No money was stolen during the incident.

Police remain in the area and an investigation is ongoing, with a scene watch currently in place.
The force is appealing for witnesses and has asked anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting the reference 43190279229.
Businesses in the area have been contacted for comment, while the Midcounties Co-operative would only confirm the break-in occurred.
A spokesperson said: “An incident took place at the Wheatley Road store on Tuesday 10th September. We are assisting the police with their investigations.”
